Many of the current early health promotion prevention initiatives stand on the shoulders of Head Start’s pioneering health promotion initiative, I Am Moving, I Am Learning (IMIL). IMIL is an active learning curriculum enhancement that augments what early learning settings already do to promote physical activity and healthier nutrition. Choosy Kids has provided content expertise and national training for the IMIL initiative since 2004 and continues to develop materials and resources using the same highly regarded guidelines, policies, and research to support active learning and healthy living.
