Let's sing and jam in Choosy's band! Grab a couple paper plates, some inexpensive rice or beans, your choice of decorations and let's make a Choosy Tambourine. This activity is a great way to showcase creativity while building motor skills. Engage children with questions like, “Choosy loves dancing and singing! What’s your favorite Choosy song to dance and sing to?”  

Materials: Printable template, 2 paper plates, pencil, paint, paint brush, glue, scissors, beans (or any noise makers), hole puncher, yarn, crepe paper (or any preferred decorations)

Step 1

Print and cut template.

Step 2

Use your template to trace Choosy’s glasses onto one of your paper plates.

Step 3

Paint both paper plate. Let dry.

Step 4

Add beans (or any noise makers) inside your paper plate then glue both plates together. Let dry.

Step 5

Hole punch the top, bottom, and both sides of the plate and tie yarn to keep the plates together.

Step 6

Decorate your Choosy Tambourine.
