Get ready to move with Choosy outside! Choosy’s simple paper kite is a great way to strengthen, promote, and encourage fine motor and gross motor skills. This simple “Do It Together” idea is fun, easy, and the perfect activity to keep the whole family engaged.
Materials: Printable template, crayons, scissors, glue, tape, piece of paper (any color), 3 straws, yarn, crepe paper or any preferred decorations

Step 1
Print, color, and cut template.
Step 2
Glue your template to a piece of paper to create the back of the kite. Cut the template out again.
Step 3
Glue the first straw vertically to the back of the paper kite.
Step 4
Tie a piece of yarn to the center of the second straw. Glue the second straw horizontally to the first straw. Use tape to hold the straws in place. Let dry.
Step 5
Cut the third straw down to create a handle. Tape the end of the yarn to the third straw and wrap the yarn around the straw.
Step 6
Glue another piece of yarn to the bottom of the paper kite to create a tail.
Step 7
Decorate the tail of your Choosy kite.
